I was in art class, which this terrible art teacher Mrs. Honkus, we all used to call her Mrs. Honk Ass though. She was quite the terrible lady. I forget what we were even doing but we all got quiet as she said she had an announcement to make. She told us what had happened and then turned on the news for everyone to watch, most teachers in the school did the same no matter what room they were in. I remember having lunch, it was something delicious like chicken nuggets or cheese burgers, I think. Or maybe it was turkey sandwiches, either way it was something good. Once the plane went down in Shanksville, PA they just started dismissing us but they had to wait until everyone got through lunch. People were already going crazy before and throughout lunchtime. Parents were coming to the school to get their children so someone was getting called down to the office like every 5 minutes or so. I wasn’t picked up, I took the bus home. I remember talking to my mom about it and watching the news some more once I was home.
I was mostly confused by everything. I knew where shanksville was and that it was close. It’s about 45 minutes from my middle school. That was very scary for me but I was still confused and remember feeling like that day was a blur. I was only 12 though so I guess that’s understandable.
And that’s where I was on 9.11.01
That being said, I don’t believe a lot of what the government tells us about 9/11. There’s entirely too much proof that shows that what the government has told us is complete bullshit.
